Manchester Business Clubs Singapore Networking Event
Thank you to all those that attended the second Manchester Business Club Singapore event on 28 January 2010.
The event, hosted by Deputy British High Commissioner in Singapore Amanda Brooks, was once again a great success with many more businesses signing up to become members of the Manchester Business Club.
The lunch time event at the Shangri-La Hotel provided guests with an opportunity to network and meet with delegates from a Northwest trade delegation who were in Singapore as part of a week long mission.
Five lucky Manchester Business Club members saw their names drawn out of the hat to win two sets of two tickets to a Manchester United match, two people won 15,000 KrisFlyer air miles and one person won a Manchester United scarf.
Manchester Airport’s Managing Director Andrew Cornish, spoke to the Manchester Business Club members and highlighted Manchester’s strong links with Singapore and the airport’s recent investment in all three terminals.
Andrew Harrison, Commercial Director at Manchester Airport added that the recent expansion of the Singapore Airlines service was an important development for Singapore/Manchester trade, investment, visit and travel and urged club members to take full advantage of the special discounts and fly direct to Manchester.
